The Executive Board typically meets in the Council Chambers Courtroom, Room 035, on the Garden Level of Citizens Square, 200 E. Berry St., unless otherwise noted. Meetings begin at 5:45 p.m. An agenda will be posted at least 48 hours before the meeting.

A History of the Allen County Department of Health
The following is a brief history of the Department of Health through the decades based on historical accounts, department records and archival material, which was compiled by Mindy Waldron, John Silcox and Kathryn Anderson.
The Department reports on a variety of public health activities and data, which drives decision-making, informs programs and enables a better understanding of challenges faced by Allen County residents.
The Allen County Department of Health works with a number of partners to fulfill its mission of promoting the health, safety and well-being of all residents by providing professional, responsive and cost-effective services to the community.
