The Department provides eligible clients with culturally- and language-appropriate health screening and assessments, including follow-ups and referrals to other healthcare providers as needed to newly arriving refugees, immigrants asylees, victims of human trafficking and those seeking permanent U.S. residency. Civil Surgeon exams for Green Cards/residency are not currently available.
