Patients with COVID-19 experience mild to severe respiratory illness, including fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, headache, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, new loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. The Department provides eligible clients with culturally- and language-appropriate health screening and assessments, including follow-ups and referrals to other healthcare providers as needed to newly arriving refugees, immigrants asylees, victims of human trafficking and those seeking permanent U.S. residency.
